The Association of Real Estate Agents (AREA) was established in 1990, and has evolved into an organisation which is leading the Real Estate industry and its related fields to an international level of performance and professionalism.



District Revenue Offices, Inland Revenue Division
The primary function of the District Revenue Services is the performance of their statutory duties under the Lands and Buildings Taxes Act, to raise levy, assess and collect taxes on all Lands & Buildings in T&T not being within the cities of Port of Spain and San Fernando.



Ministry of Housing and the Environment
The Ministry of Housing and the Environment is responsible for the formulation and execution of Government’s policy in the Housing and Environmental sectors. The Ministry operates as facilitator in the implementation of those policies through its various units and affiliated agencies.



Town and Country Planning Division (TCPD)
Town and Country Planning Division (TCPD) is responsible for ensuring the orderly and progressive development of land which seeks to create, improve and preserve the sustainable use and development of land for future generations. This is effected by the execution of two (2) main functions- Development Planning and Development Control.




Tobago House of Assembly (THA)
The Tobago House of Assembly (THA) is a unicameral autonomous legislative body responsible for the island of Tobago within the unitary state of Trinidad and Tobago. The THA was re-established in 1980[1] to rectify some of the disparities in the relationship between the two islands, though a prior body using the same name existed from 1768 to 1874.[2] In addition to the normal local government functions the THA handles many of the responsibilities of the central government, but has limited ability to collect taxes and impose local law or zoning regulations.



Trinidad & Tobago Housing Development Corporation (HDC)
The Trinidad & Tobago Housing Development Corporation (HDC) is an Agency of the Ministry of Housing & Urban Development and has been in the business of providing critical housing assistance, through an aggressive construction programme. The HDC is founded on the belief that decent, safe and attractive housing is central to the physical and emotional health, productivity and self-esteem of the people it serves.




Water & Sewerage Authority of Trinidad and Tobago
Water and Sewerage Authority (WASA) was established by an Act of Parliament in 1965 to manage the water and sewerage sector of Trinidad and Tobago. An essential component of this mandate is the delivery of a safe, reliable and efficient water supply to satisfy the demand of all sectors of the economy.
